How to add customers and properties
Build your book — import or add customers, verify addresses, and tag the services each property gets.

Steps
- Choose how to add your customers — From the Customers page, decide whether to bulk-import an existing list from a spreadsheet (CSV) or add customers one at a time. Importing is the fastest way to bring over an established book; adding manually is perfect for new leads as they come in.
- Enter the customer's contact details — Add the customer's name, phone, and email. These details power appointment reminders, completion notifications, invoices, and the optional customer portal — so the more complete the record, the more of the platform works for you automatically.
- Add and verify the property address — Enter each property's address using the autocomplete field. TurfTechAdvisor validates the address with Google and drops a verified map pin, so every visit, route, and EPA record starts from the exact right location. A green verified badge confirms the address is mapped.
- Set the service mix for each property — Flag which services each property gets — lawn treatment, mowing, landscaping, or tree & shrub. The service mix drives which jobs, plans, and records are available for that property and keeps your calendar and reports organized by the work you actually do.
- Review, save, and repeat — Save the customer and confirm the property appears on the map with the right service flags. Repeat for the rest of your book — or let an import do it in bulk — and you're ready to start scheduling work.
